KIMBERLY OFFORD
Kimberly is a Webby-Nominated career marketer, storyteller, and visionary. She is also the creator of Playground Pastime, an alternate world of AI images and film. She is also the creator of the "Tunnels" AI video for the Lalah Hathaway VANTABLACK Album. Kimberly has studied AI image generation closely and almost daily since her introduction. Her creations are invitations to imagine worlds that tread the fine line between what was and what could still be, a testament to her belief in the transformative power of art.
Kimberly is the creator of the AI series, "The B-Side" and the founder of the Playground Pastime AI Film Contest, Chicago AI Film Festival and the Black AI Film Festival.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I need any prior experience to enroll?
No. This class is designed to work for beginners and experienced creators alike. If you can use a smartphone, you can follow along. Some prior prompting experience is desired.
Do I need paid tools?
Free tiers are available for some AI tools, but certain features require a subscription. We’ll outline budget-friendly options during the workshop. This workshop does NOT include subscriptions to any AI tools.
What do I need to have ready?
A computer with internet access and a willingness to experiment. A full tool list will be sent upon registration.
Is the price refundable?
No, the price is not refundable. Once you have subscribed, there will be no refunds. Seats are limited. All sales are final. If you can’t attend, the recordings will be made available to all attendees for 30 days.
Will there be a recording?
There will be 2 live sessions each week for you to attend. These live sessions will be held virtually on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00am to 2:00pm cst via Zoom. If you are unable to attend the live sessions, the recordings will be made available for you to view.
How is this different from the 2-Day AI Film Lab Intensive?
The Intensive is a deep, immersive two-day experience for those ready to go all-in. The AI Film Lab is a focused 3-hour session, a powerful starting point that stands completely on its own.
